Our Services

What We Offer

Whatever brought you through the door, there's a class here for it.

01

Vinyasa Flow

£14 / class

A dynamic, breath-led class that links movement into sequences so you leave with your heart rate up and your head clearer. Variations are offered throughout, so a stronger flow day and a quieter one both fit in the same room.

02

Yin & Restorative

£14 / class

Long, supported holds using props and stillness to work into the deeper connective tissue rather than the muscles. This is the class people come to when they can't remember the last time they properly stopped.

03

Beginners Courses

£70 / 6 weeks

A set course over several weeks that teaches the fundamentals of breath and alignment before you're expected to keep pace with a full room. You come out knowing what Downward Dog is meant to feel like, not just how to copy it.

04

Workshops

from £35

One-off sessions that go deeper into a single theme, whether that's arm balances, breathwork or hip mobility, with time for questions a normal class doesn't allow. These run alongside the regular timetable for anyone who wants to go further with something specific.

About Us

Who's Behind the Mat

We started Stillpoint because Bristol had plenty of big, busy studios but not many small ones where a teacher actually learns your name. We keep classes small on purpose, so if your hip is tight or your breathing is off, someone notices and says something. Our teachers come from different backgrounds, Vinyasa, Yin, restorative, but they share the same habit of slowing down to explain the why, not just the pose. Beginners get their own course rather than being dropped into a room full of people who already know the sequences. Regulars tend to stay for years, moving between a fast flow on a Tuesday and a restorative class when the week has been too much. It is still, at heart, a room full of mats and people trying to breathe a bit better than when they walked in.

FAQs

Common Questions

I've never done yoga before, will I feel out of place?+

That's exactly what the beginners course is for, so you're learning alongside other people who are also new rather than trying to keep up with a room of regulars. Most people who start there stay on for our general classes once the course finishes, so there's no pressure to rush that step.

Which class should I start with if I'm not sure?+

If you're new to yoga altogether, start with a beginners course rather than dropping into Vinyasa or Yin cold. If you've practised before but it's been a while, a restorative class is a gentle way back in before you take on a faster flow.

Do I need to bring my own mat?+

Bring one if you have one, but we have mats and props on site if you don't, so that's never a reason to skip your first class. Just come in comfortable clothes you can move in and you're set.

How small are the classes really?+

Small enough that a teacher will notice if your breathing changes or you're holding a pose wrong, and will usually say something quietly rather than let it slide. We cap numbers on purpose rather than filling every spot, so it stays that way class after class.

What are your hours and how do I book?+

We run classes daily from 7am to 8pm, covering early sessions before work and later ones for anyone finishing late. Get in touch and we'll point you to the right class and time for where you're starting from.
